Every job is different, but typically a pad and rotor service will take 2-3 hours. Occasionally, parts are stuck and that may add time to the service. Luckily for you, our labor is a flat rate and this will not cost you anything additional.

Typically, service will remain at the quoted price. The exception is when additional parts are needed to complete the repair due to rust or damage. Contact will be made with you before completing any additional repairs.

Mobile repairs are our specialty, but there are some standards we need to abide by to make the job safe for us and your vehicle. 

• Weather: It will be at the discretion of Only Brakes to reschedule the appointment to a time of your choosing for extreme weather. This can include extreme heat, cold, lightning, and precipitation. A covered location, such as a garage or carport should reduce the risk of needing to reschedule. 

• Repair location: The location of the repair must be safe and legal. The park surface must be paved, flat, and level. The vehicle must also be parked in a location that keeps us safe from traffic dangers. Only Brakes reserves the right to reschedule or negotiate an alternate repair location if the original repair location does not meet safety needs.

• Heavy duty trucks

In most cases, no. We strive to provide a full-service experience. Purchasing the parts for you allows us to provide a warranty on parts and services. We trust the parts we use and know they will provide you with a superior stopping experience. If you have a brand or type of parts you prefer, let us know, and we can discuss if it is possible.

That being said, if you do choose to provide your own parts, we reserve the right to slightly increase our labor fees. We do this because, historically, parts provided by clients have led to complications or setbacks that result in a longer service.

Our home garage does have a waiting space with a TV and seating. Unfortunately, it is not currently temperature-controlled. It is advised to have someone pick you up if there are temperature extremes.

Obviously, brakes are a consumable item, however we want to make things right if there are ever errors with labor or parts. Typically, pads and rotors will be warrantied for 6 Months or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first. Reach out to us with any concerns you may have and we will book a time to make it right.
